Bruce Lee's favorite! Grip machines are great training tools for developing crush and supporting grip strength. The additional advantage this machine has over a hand gripper is that you can increase the resistance in small increments. Depending on which weight plates you have, you can increase the weight by 1 or 2kg each workout. With a gripper, the only way to go heavier is to use a heavier gripper. However, the difference between two grippers is usually quite significant.
Using the Grip Machine
Grip machines are very easy to use. All you have to do is load your weight onto the pin. Don't worry, we made sure there is enough room for 20 and 25kg plates.
Specifically aimed at improving crushing grip, grip machines can be used to perform reps or holds. Simple squeeze both bars together and do reps or holds. We recommend combining both techniques in your workouts.

There are not many ways to train your crushing grip. The most popular method is the age old hand gripper.
This is a great way to train your grip, however if you are truly serious about getting the strongest possible grip, it comes with some limitations.
The most important one is that the resistance of a hand gripper is fixed, and it can be hard to get your progressive overload. For example, if you´re just able to closed our LVL5 gripper, the jump to LVL6 will be way too big and you will have to stick with LVL5 training for a long time.
With the Bruce Lee Grip Machine, you can simply add as much weight as you like, so you can easily get your progressive overload each workout.
