The Saxon Bar is one of the classics from the golden era of strongman, named after old-time legend Arthur Saxon. Instead of wrapping your hands around a normal bar, you grip this one in a two-handed pinch grip.
Because of this, you're lifting the bar purely on the strength between your fingers and thumbs. Get ready to be humbled ;).
