Forearm Trainers Built for Stronger, Bigger Forearms
Forearm size is one of the most overlooked gains in the gym. You can usually find big biceps, triceps, chests and shoulders in most gyms, but truly developed forearms are a rare sight. We thought that this needed to change. In our opinion, nothing beats set of mighty, veiny forearms. Bonus: they’re one of the few muscle groups that can be seen year-round (simply pull up your sleeves). Building big forearms takes effort though, and you need to train all the different ranges of motion of the wrists and elbows. With that in mind is how we built this collection. When you do this right, all your gym buddies will be scratching their on how your forearms suddenly got so jacked.
How Forearm Trainers Actually Build Size
Our forearm training tools are specifically designed to isolate the main muscles in your forearms. Simply add in 2-3 forearm training circuits each week and stay consistent, and you will see your forearms grow. Pair them with our grip training tools to add crushing and pinch work, and you'll end up with a brutally strong grip with powerful looking forearms.
Fitting Forearm Work Into a Busy Training Program
There are many ways to go about this. Some people like to do full forearm training sessions, but other athletes simply like to add it as an addition to their main workouts (like a full upper body day). The key is to simply stay consistent. If you don’t have much time, just do 2-5 focused sets after your main lifts and you’ll see results.
If your grip gives out before your back or arms do on pulling movements, or you never feel a forearm pump even after heavy training, your forearms have been getting indirect work at best. Dedicated forearm training will close that gap, instead of hoping size happens as a side effect of everything else you do.
If you want to be even more precise about it, our Hand Dynamometer will give you an exact score of how strong your grip is.
FAQ
Yes, with consistent training and enough volume, forearm trainers overload the forearm exactly the way any other training tool will add growth to a muscle group.
Two to three sessions a week is enough for most people, depending on how seriously you want to take this. Forearms tend to recover fast compared to bigger muscle groups, so they can be trained relative frequently and intense.
Yes, absolutely. Depending on how seriously you want to take your forearm gains, you can chose to schedule a separate forearm training workout 2-3x per week, or simply some extra sets to your main workout if you’re short on time. If you do the exercises after you main workout, they should not interfere with your main lifts.
Consistency. If you stick to it and train your forearms with progressive overload over multiple weeks/months, your forearms will grow.
