      A new (great) experience.

I started by buying the Medium Set and my experience was so good that I recently bought levels 5 and 6 to challenge myself to continue.

Initially with the goal of getting a better grip on the heavy dumbbells I was doing walking lunges with in the gym, the truth is that the Hand Grippers not only helped me in this context, but they also made me feel more confident when shaking hands more firmly with other men (I don't have big hands, so it's funny to notice when they perhaps weren't expecting such a strong handshake).

Progress obviously depends on the frequency and quality of training, but I'd say that a few weeks of daily training is enough to close the Gripper. I'm soon going to move on to level 4 (I started at level 2 and I only move up a level when I've completely closed the Gripper comfortably despite the effort that is always required).

My workouts take place when I go for a 1-hour walk after the gym (at first, you may think too much about the Gripper, but after a few days it's automatic. I can say that I never go out without my Gripper when I go for a walk, as it's already part of the experience). I start by slowly warming up the muscles in my hands and after 10 or 15 minutes of increasing effort I begin to squeeze harder. After 30 minutes (it could be sooner, it depends on whether I feel completely ready) I try to squeeze as hard as I can and see where I'm at. I usually take a break when the muscles feel fatigued and then resume for a few more repetitions. However, quality over quantity is a good rule.

As for the quality of the materials, the Grippers are extremely robust and beautiful in my opinion. If you're looking for a slightly different challenge, I can only recommend Golden Grip!

      • Level 1 is perfect for beginners in grip training for high reps, or is to be used as a warm up.
      • Level 2 is to be used for medium reps for beginners, or for high reps for intermediates.
      • Level 3 is a nice next step for beginners, which allows them to do some lower reps. For people who are already a bit stronger, it can be used nicely for high reps.
      • Level 4 will already be a nice challenge for many fitness enthusiasts, making it very suitable for lower reps.
      • Level 5 is suitable for real powerhouses. It is a great goal for many to work towards.
      • Level 6. Is your name Eddie Hall, Thor Björnnson, Devon Larratt or are you someone else resembling a 300-pound hulk? Then this one is for you! This gripper is for the crème de la crème among mankind.

      FAQ

Yes, but it depends on what you want of course! Hand grippers are a great way to increase forearm size and vascularity, develop your grip strength, and have great carry-over to other sports' performance, like strongman, wrestling, climbing, etc.

      • Level 1 is perfect for beginners in grip training for high reps, or is to be used as a warm up. Almost anyone will be able to close this.

This depends a bit on your goals. If your goal is to gain forearm size, we recommend using higher reps, for example 3 sets of 10-15 reps twice a week. If you're looking to simply maximize grip strength, it's good to train lower reps as well. In this case you'd want to include sets with 1-5 reps. For example, do 1 workout per week where you're building up to your max gripper and focus on low reps. Than do another workout that week with high reps.

For the sake of hand health we also recommend training the opening of the hand, a.k.a. the extensors. These finger elastics are a perfect way to do this.

For a detailed guide about this, please read our blog post "How to use a hand gripper".

In the very rare case that something may happen to your gripper, please contact us first! All our grippers have a lifetime warranty, so we'd be happy to send you a new one.
